Incredible Dog Challenge March 2006

New Announcement
Kesa and I are going to take a break from agility. I have met my original goal of having the Best Agility Tervuren in the country. In my typical analytical fashion prior to attending the AKC Invitational I created a chart compiling stats for all the top Tervuren across the country competing in agility as measured by a combination of yps and consistency. "At that point in time" I had Kesa charted as the most consistent and fastest Tervuren in the country.  This has been confirmed while participating in two USDAA World Cyno Sport Games. In the meantime Kesa will be joining me in running / hiking and I fully intend to keep her in shape.  We will also be taking on a new endeavor to be known at a later date. Enjoy her web site as I know what it takes to raise an agility star.

Agility Pages
Kesa started to compete in agility at 15 1/2 months and was off to a great start. You can see all of her accomplishments on her Summary page or go to her Detailed page of what happened throughout the year.

Pictures and Movies
Multimedia of Kesa since she started competing in agility.

Puppy Pictures / Movies
Great Puppy Pictures and movies. And now we have just started agility.

Temperment
The temperment of Kesa is very stable and confident with high prey and instinct drive. More writings will be updated here soon.

First Year Puppy Diary
A frequent Diary of Kesa's progress from when she joined our family until she became one.

Related to this I wrote an article on what I believe it takes to: Raise an Agility Star

Siblings and Pedigree
Kesa's Pedigree is from a Working Line of Tervuren where the protection sports of Schutzhund and French Ring are practiced. Her dad Reko is from Finland and Mom Soja is from France. While her parents are both very accomplished, there are also world champions in this lineage such as Stoned Van de Duvetorre and Elgos, both well known Champions. Most importantly for my goals is her Aunt Ava who was the 2003 IFC World Agility Champion and just finished 6th in the 2004 IFC World Agility Championship. The only dog breed other than a BC in the Large category top 16 were 5 Belgians! In the 2005 USDAA 26" Grand Prix finals, Kesa's mom was the only non-BC to qualify and earned a 9th place!
